1. I read about 6 months ago that Roger Stone was already
warning tRump about DeSantis and they needed to take him down.

3. If Trump were smart (heh) he'd join forces with DeSantis.
A Trump/DeSantis ticket in 2024. If the ticket wins and Trump dies or becomes incapacitated, DeSantis becomes POTUS automatically. Trump couldn't run again in 2028 even if not dead, so Desantis is on a fast track to be the nominee.
Good for us that they're both shitheads who hate each other. |

4. All he cares about is the grift
I'm not even sure if Chump wants to be President again. He just wants to pretend he's campaigning so he can continue grifting. By the same token, Chump won't share his grifting profits with anyone else. Not DeSantis, not the GOP, not any other candidate. It's all for him.
Who cares if he's furious? I don't. We need to stop focusing on Chump and start getting the ready for the next 2years of hard work. ![]() ![]() |

5. He Didn't Want To Be Prez The First Time
Last edited Wed Nov 9, 2022, 06:21 PM - Edit history (1) It was a play for tons of free publicity & coverage to elevate the brand.
I doubt he really wants the scrutiny he just went through. He hated it then. It isn't going to be better. My prediction is he won't really run, but the string-along keeps those gritty dollars coming in. |

11. What year is the "first time". Or "First Time."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_career_of_Donald_Trump#:~:text=Trump%20has%20been%20a%20presidential,mulled%20a%20run%20in%202004.
Trump has been a presidential candidate three times, in 2000, 2016, and 2020; he also "unofficially" campaigned in 2012 and mulled a run in 2004.[1]
Trump's political party affiliation has changed numerous times. He registered as a Republican in Manhattan in 1987, switched to the Reform Party in 1999, the Democratic Party in 2001, and back to the Republican Party in 2009.[15]
So in 2000 he was Reform, but along the way he was (D). IIRC, NYS isn't Texas. In Texas you're officially (R) or (D) (etc.) depending on the vote you cast in the primary. If I'm (D) now and vote for Abbott in whenever he's up for re-election, I'm officially Republican, declaredly so, for that election cycle. By voting in the (R) primary I've stated, "Everybody, I'm (R)!" Cross-over voting to skew primaries carries a stigma if you're proclaiming official party affiliation. In NYS, you declare independent of elections and primaries are (okay, "were" ![]() |

14. Still Feels Like Branding
And, running Reform and "mulling" still seems like someone who really didn't care about getting the job.
Just keep propping up the profile so he could continue the charade that he was a business titan. Remember, he constantly criticized Obama over playing golf, then played more every 4 months than BHO did in 8 years. He really hated the gig. |

13. DeSantis is more dangerous than Trump.
He inspires the same racist organizations. The only difference between Trump and DeSantis is the DeSantis is way smarter.
