The teflon has definitely worn off Traitor Trump.

The Republican Party knows he cannot be the nominee or they will lose in 2024. Trumps brain dead base is shrinking not growing, All the investigations are closing in on Traitor Trump.

Trump is going to have a very bad ending to his life. I am going to enjoy watching it.

Two possible situations;

1. No one challenges him, because they are afraid of him.

2. Many challenge him (like last time) and he wins with the majority of the vote, 25-30%

Easy to see a repeat that so many of these lunatics run that they can't even do them all at the same time in a debate and just what you noted occurs.

AND as happened in 2016, despite all their childish protestations of how they will take him out at the convention and this and that, they will, like the servile dogs they are, get 100% behind him, cause of the evil liberal boogyman.

I imagine it as a chilling final turn of the plot. His world is coming to an end. He will never have another good day. Loser label will haunt him. The law will pursue him. Mental illness will hobble him. His properties will bankrupt him.

Trumps base is still large enough to win the Republican nomination. It is not big enough to win the general election. The Republicans made their bed, they got to sleep in it.

He got millions more votes in 2000 than in 2016.

The only people I see shying away from him are some old-school GOP pundits that seem embarrassed by him. But they have been replaced in the Republican Party apparatus by new internet stars that carry the ball forward for TFG.

We ain't out of the woods yet.

and they've made Trump the scapegoat. But they have themselves to blame just as much. They could have put an end to Trump in 2016 or, at the latest 2021 but at each turn they chose to protect and enable him so that he could remain eligible to run. I have zero sympathy for all of them.
