my way to see a doctor. The sites were NOT busy.
Knock on wood, I smell a blowout coming.

(24,523 posts)I was in Forsyth on Thanksgiving, and there were lots of Herschel signs. Must be very weak support if they are letting a little rain keep them inside. Forsyth was the hot bed of "Boycott the Vote" two years ago and I really doubt that they learned anything from that experience.

(9,670 posts)There was only one other voter there at the time, and it's usually pretty busy at that time.
Keeping my fingers crossed that these right wingers couldn't stomach their candidate either.

(111,141 posts)The horrible thing is that this should have been an easy choice, a contest between an educated man and an ignoramus being used as a dupe by the worst people in the country, but the media kept telling us it was a close race.
If it is at all close, I will think even less of Georgians than I already do (I fled the south for good reasons). If it turns out to be the blowout it should be in favor of Sen. Warnock, everybody out there will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that media are a bunch of corporate liars that will do anything to gin up ratings.
Please let it be the second case. My opinion of Georgians will improve greatly if it is.

(13,433 posts)It could just be a sign of it being easier to vote in Red counties, so itll appear less busy, while Blue county voters have to decide to burn hours to be able to vote.
How we havent passed legislation to address long poll lines is infuriating.

This was never going to be close.

(698 posts)They're happy about early returns without any mention of Fulton and Cobb Counties.
In a rare moment of clarity, the anchors are praising Dems for promoting early voting over weeks vs. getting the mob out on election day. Illuminating.
