you should call the manager and have them look into that. Most businesses are smart enough to avoid politics, especially the big chains.

It might have been one of the service staff that affixed the offending label.

Chances are they own several IHOP franchises among other restaurants.

I can't believe these isn't internal complaints. Employees have a little more leverage than in the past.

So you went from the frying pan to the frying pan.

Some ihops are franchised - so this might have been one of them. If so, you might want to ask Dine Brands if their franchisees are allowed to engage in politics.

I don't do business with magats. Period. I don't do business with those who are or have sported Trump paraphernalia (very long memory) or those that use their religion as advertising.

Probably not the point.

I don’t care for their menu, but my late MIL adored it because everything was sweet and soft. I was fine with that because I didn’t have to cook or clean up, so it was a treat for both of us.

This was long before Trump reared his ugly head in national politics, of course..

I don't rule out it was the host who put it there.
Could Be anyone that works there.
Not that I'd like it either.
I think it foolish for any retail business to trumpet their politics.
