Trumps taxes prove he lived off his daddy his entire life.

In 2018 Trump sold properties he inherited from daddy. He needed money because many of his businesses were bleeding money.

Trump is a life long silver spoon fed lying piece of shit.

What a genius.

If he'd simply done what so many trust fund babies do, leave the money well invested and go play golf the rest of his life, he'd be vastly richer and in far less trouble. But oh no. To paraphrase Billy Joel, he had to be a big shot didn't he!

But yes no business acumen, not educated, not curious, no social awareness.

He was bright enough to become the most powerful man in the world and
obtain a POTUS shield.

But yes, his toxic narcissism is his downfall.

He could have lived a good life as a trust fund baby.
But he has to be the star, and receive constant attention.

Just like as POTUS he could have had it all.
Performed the bare minimum, and hidden his sociopathy.
Tone down his narcissism.

He could have won a second term.
Continued to grift in a quiet way.

Inside the DC beltway the politicians would have covered for him like
they do for all POTUS and VPOTUS.

Trump would have been a small time, punk ass, lying, corrupt, wall street investor. Who would have gone to prison a long time because who wouldn't have daddy's lawyers or the money to pay for his own corrupt lawyers to save his ass.

I picture it kind of like a hunk of dry ice in a bucket of water. He'll be so amped up by the time indictments and the inevitable perpwalk take place, he'll either stroke out or burst into flames.

I'd rather he endure a lot of suffering before he croaks.

to see the loss of everything he owns, like you said first. Death would just be an easy escape from the brutal reality of the monstrous life he's created. Let him live long enough to be a witness to his world crumbling around him and everyone abandoning him. Death would be too merciful.

Also, if he were to die today, his rabid followers would make him a martyr to their cause. No, let him live long enough to face justice and pay the earthly consequences, while being an example to others who would make similar choices.

he made his living off of honest taxpayers, like you and me.

Trump got you and I, honest taxpayers, to buy new golf carts for his golf course, and then he charged the Secret Service for using them, brilliant.

When I worked in Waco, Texas I decided to go to Crawford, Texas to see where George W. Bush lived. I went down a country road for miles and found the road to Bush's house, it was gated. I turned around in an old farm house driveway, it was the place where the Secret service stayed who were assigned to Bush. Trump charged the Secret Service top dollar to stay at his golf club and we, you and I, honest taxpayers, paid the Secret Service lodging that went into Trump's pocket, brilliant.

he is not an intelligent person, but what he does, what he is good at, is genius, is brilliant. He knows how far to go before he incriminates himself in a crime. He knows how to con millions of people. he is a genius at what he does, con people.

I think he made a mistake with the theft of the classified documents and I am hoping that jack Smith indicts him for those crimes.

Lawyers have to bail him out. Being a narcissist who lives every second of his life obsessed with taking advantage of weak minded people is not a genius. Charging the secret service for using golf carts is not genius. It's corruption. Trump learned a few tricks from corrupt lawyers over the decades. He is like a trained seal.

The only thing exceptional about Trump is his level of Narcissism. He is a fucking freak of nature.

He's nothing but a low class, cheating grifter who has used his old man's, and late brother's money, to hire lawyers and fixers to bail him out of the illegalities he constantly gets himself into because he's not a smart man. He also benefits from spineless prosecutors like NY DAs Vance, and now Bragg, and his own corrupt AG Barr who wouldn't go after him.

Even the present AG Garland has hesitated for months in going after an obviously guilty top secret, government document thief.

Most other cheap, conniving crooks like him wouldn't been in jail long ago.

Remember "I alone can fix it..." ? The American people weren't aware of how shallow and corrupt the Republicans are. Behind all their grievance slogans and media machine they fooled many good people into believing their disingenuous bullshit. Well, donnie fixed it. With the assistance of the Supreme Court, the next generation of citizens will never vote republican. "They came up to me with tears running down their face and said 'Sir, get your daughter off your knee and get out of the unemployment line...you have to have had a job to be here'."

to enrich himself, but interestingly in the long run, it appears not to have paid off all that much. He knows how to milk the system, but not how to hold on to the money.

Meanwhile, the man with Daddy-issues has relied on his father to the very end. Everything he touches turns to shit.

They think they're better and smarter than the forbearer(s) who created the wealth. Invariably, they're not. Many times it ends in disaster, with simply blowing their inherited wealth being the best case.

Sometimes I think inheritance, no matter what its form, should be taxed on a sliding scale that leaves the inheritor no more that $250K. A nice parting gift, but not enough to get them into too much trouble. Also eliminates an American aristocracy built on money and not hereditary nobility.

I'm surprised he hadn't sold them long before that.

Though I'm sure he'd say he didn't sell them because he needed money, but simply because market conditions were such that it was a good time to sell those particular properties.
