.... The Rs did win the house. Wouldn't it be better to force them to accept someone who appears to respect norms? We can't get a progressive leadership, I don't think. What? Do we want to offer Manchin as a reverse prospect?

... a majority big enough to elect her. Since it's a foregone conclusion that we're not going to get a Democrat, I'd rather have a Republican with some moral fiber, even if her ideology is verschmucked.

Like every Presidential election cycle the press (and invariable some people here) float the idea that we should have a Republican as Veep, to reach across the aisle and all that. Well fuck that. These are horrible people, Liz Cheney is a horrible person and we shouldn't get in bed with them at all. What the hell DU?
