How can you put Trump and the coup plotters on trial, in multiple investigations, at the same time? Doesn't someone have to go first?
How can you put people like Meadows, Eastman , Rudy on trial in Georgia and for the Garland investigation at the same time? Someone has to go first.
How can you put Trump on trial in the secret document investigation and at the same time put him on trial in Georgia and the Garland J6 investigation. You can't. Someone has to go first.
This is complicated, this has to be coordinated. The prosecutors in all the investigations must be talking to each other about this.
Maybe, just a guess, the DOJ wants DA Willis to go first.

(1,766 posts)Sometimes, you do the pyramid strategy of working from the bottom to the top, because that's how single organizations work. Other times, you do a hub and spokes investigation--quite common when going after cartels and other organized crime elements working in tandem together, but with one main group/person at the center. IIRC, the John Gotti investigation was a hub and spokes deal.
This entire J6 scheme is hub and spokes. You have a bunch of different stuff going on (the capitol attack, the fake electors, the intimidation of state officials, the stupid lawsuits, the "audits" and etc), but one person at the center of it all.

Eastman going to D.C., and so on. Watch them being frog marched onto planes .... must see TV.
