Remember, Garland/Smith are also following the money when it comes to the Coup of Fools.

This is very important. Political corruption, attempted coups, are funded, backed, with lots of money. It's done in a corrupt way. We have learned from the past following the money can break investigations wide open. Someone, many, funded all the rallies leading to J6. Someone funded stupid, fake investigations like the cyber ninjas.

Following the money takes time, a lot of hard work. As you follow the money more and more people can be implicated in crimes. Things can snowball. Following the money could lead right to Trump.

1. Following the money is almost always how you bust complex criminal cases.

That's how they figured out Watergate. The tapes busted Nixon wrt his knowledge of the coverup, but the whole scheme was unraveled by following the money. But it does take time and a lot of work by forensic accountants.

2. Following the money takes time? Then maybe they shouldn't have waited 2 years to get started.

And how long has it been since Individual One sent money to Stormy? And what about money laundering? It's all about nothing, except for Michael Cohen and other low-level pawns.

Trump is above the law, always has been, always will be.

8. Brazil doesn't exactly have the history of following the money with any degree of impartiality.

But it has a long history of having constitutional crises, coups, political repressions, political and economic instability, police brutality, etc.

I wouldn't exactly use Brazil as an example for the US to emulate.

9. Because in this case Brazil emulated the US? At least the attacking the Capitol part.

Not so much the making the insurrectionist pay part.

11. We didn't wait 2 years to get started.

We got started on 2-11-2022. That's when the first defendants were charged by DOJ.

42 days after the event took place. Naturally, the investigations started well before the charges were filed.

12. My understanding was that subpoenas for the higher ups didn't go out till Smith sent them.

And in al honesty, while I'm glad the pawns got theirs, it's the higher ups I want, and 2 years is too late.

And once again, I must ask for your definition of "higher ups". It keeps changing with time, who you talk to, and the list of higher ups already indicted by DOJ.

Is Enrique Tarrio no longer a higher up? Stewart Rhodes? Pat Cipollone? Will Russell? Over 30 officials and fake electors in disputed states subpoenaed prior to Smith's appointment? What is their relative position on the totem pole compared to the state officials subpoenaed by Smith?

13. Who are "they"? and on what grounds would "they" subpoena Ginny Thomas?

You must have missed Ginny Thomas testifying to the Jan 6 Committee without the need for subpoena.

And I must have missed what incriminating evidence came out of her testimony.
