I am starting to believe it is judges delaying justice in our country more then prosecutors.

We are seeing it time and time again. I don't know the reasons behind this but judges put things off far too long.

I still can't believe the judge in Georgia can't make a decision when it comes to releasing the Special grand Jury report. That should not take long. Yes or No. If he says no, no one gets hurt. There is no law that says it has to released. If he he says yes, he will only release certain parts , the rest will be redacted. What's the point.

Take a couple of days and make a fucking decision.

Now I hear the Navarro trial is being delayed for months. WTF. It's a contempt trial, not a murder trial. It's a smoking gun case. He did it. Executive privilege is not a defense in this case. There is no reason to delay that trial.

It looks really bad on their judicial record to have their rulings overturned.

But, it's our system and in this system, you are innocent until proven guilty. You can't trample on defendant's right. It's how it works.

This is the ONLY thing the courts have going on? Clearly you haven't been in court. This is normal.

This is normal for a court. They dot every I and cross every T. Nobody wants a reversal on appeal except the defendant.

What's the point? It is not required.

Navarro is going to go on trial, period. End of story. Why delay it for months after it has already been delayed for months. Something is not right.

In an everyday non-media case they stall till the prosecutor pleas-out lightly just to get the case off his desk

Fani Willis can issue indictments regardless of whether the report is made public or not, and she does not need to wait for the judge's decision to act. The issue of making the report public or not is solely whether the media gets to see it. Any delay by the judge in making that decision will not affect Fani Willis's actions.

It is also possible that the judge sees little reason to keep it secret but is also sympathetic to Willis's desire to keep it secret until she issues indictments. By delaying his decision, that may allow Fani Willis the leeway she needs before actually making it public.

to keep in mind that in a hearing four days ago, the DA asked the judge in Georgia to keep the grand jury report sealed.

I do agree that it is often frustrating when cases such as Navarro's drag out. But defense teams can request delays for a variety of reasons.
