Fox Nation MLK Thread Generates Racist Comments

Fox Nation, a blog for those "opposed to intolerance," is obviously an apartheid state inhabited by those who have no qualms about flaunting their bigotry and ignorance. When right wingers whine about being accused of racism, they have only to check out the comments on a Fox Nation thread which commemorates a man who lead a movement in which people, both black and white, were brutalized and killed in the struggle to secure civil rights for Americans whose suffering did not end with emancipation. In reading the Fox Nation comments, it's readily apparent that Martin Luther King, Jr's goal of creating a nation where all people would be respected, regardless of the color of their skin, is a long way from happening.

Wonder how long it will take for this thread to be shut down?

11. Apparently, my dad thinks MLK was a full-on Marxist & plagiarist.

Although it can be said that he did have some associates who could be considered Marxist, and may have even had some socialist leanings, but a full-on Lenin-style Marxist? Uh-uh. No way. And he certainly wasn't a plagiarist, either(where did that rumor start, btw?).

The rest, not so much. But the tone and message of that one isn't all that different from that Boondocks episode about MLK awakening from a long coma and not liking what he saw.
