Florida county Republican Party votes to ban the COVID-19 vaccine

MIAMI - The "Ban the jab" resolution passed with a majority vote in the Lee County Republican Party and will now head to Governor Ron DeSantis' desk.

This comes after a member of the Lee County Republican Party wrote a resolution for the executive committee to consider. Joe Sansone argued the risks of the COVID vaccine are not worth it.

Sansone so far as to label the vaccine a bioweapon.

We know that Covid-19 was not the first nor last virus to wreak havoc on the world's population. When the next medical emergency arises, one where the lethality is substantially higher (think avian flu jumping to humans), ignorance and defiance will not protect people, anymore than it protected the estimated 250,000+ Americans who refused Covid vaccines and pooh-poohed the idea of masking.

And then died unnecessarily.

It's insane as are the people who have deliberately turned this into a political time bomb.

Bioweapon? Give me a break!
