TFG said store shelves are empty. Please weigh in on your local situation.

There is a Ralph's, Pavillion, Target, Walmart, Amazon Fresh, Sprouts, Aldi, Vons, Whole Food, Vallarta, and Island Pacific within five miles of my apartment and the shelves are fully stored. Eggs are also coming down in price. Oh, forgot Trader a Joe's. Gosh darn it, I forgot Costco too.

Dementia Donald has been spewing the same "shelves are empty" bullshit since Biden took office. I'm not surprised that he forgot that people were wiping their asses with coffee filters while he was in charge, because they couldn't get toilet paper. Or, bleach. Or, laundry detergent. Or, hand sanitizer. Or, PPEs. Or, rubbing alcohol. Or, bread. Or, baking yeast... When he has these evening rallies, he always shows signs of sun-downing, like forgetting things.

The shelves here are well-stocked, for the most part. When they're not, it's because they haven't gotten to re-stocking them from the Wednesday/Saturday crowds. I go early in morning, and most of the time, the shelf-stockers make the aisles nearly impassable.

Meanwhile, everything else was stocked including 99 cents/lb hams (especially with it being a Monday and the new circular came out this past Friday).

Mon Mar 27, 2023, 01:41 PM
Mar 2023

Lack of future planning thanks to backwater Repubs and a result of growth without a game plan, combined with being the tucked away corner and our grocery stores are still on the struggle bus but it's getting better. Eggs are down to half the price and normal. Milk is back to regular price. Dry goods are a bit better. Meat is still hit or miss (chicken mostly) but rebounding. Juice/soft cheese is a luxury item by brand haha ha ha. ehhh. But if you look around you can find it and again.. it's not entirely gone. We still have no formula to speak of. Our produce in big box stores is deplorable at best. Most people in this area are buying what they can at local markets. Was at Walmart last night and they were down to two bags of potatoes and 19 roma tomatoes for the Super Walmart, which services three counties. Therein lies the problem. The red states are still struggling but us blue people are here trying to fix it and make it work.
