Is that malania?

It's an illegal immigrant working in the US without the proper visas, who later used chain migration after having an anchor baby. So yes.

I don't really care about that but the punching down and marrying a fascist and leaping to his defense and wearing clothes that mock poverty... yeah that makes my blood boil.

Neither do we. At issue is the GOP’s hypocrisy.

21. GQ Editor Recalls Donald Trump Wife's Controversial Nude Photo Shoot
Sun Mar 26, 2023, 04:47 PM
Mar 2023
"We were bombarded by requests to shoot Melania," says editor Dylan Jones, noting the billionaire's eagerness for his wife to appear in the magazine.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/gq-editor-recalls-donald-trump-878336/

The editor of British GQ says Donald Trump was “very keen” to see photos of his then-girlfriend in the magazine back in 2000. “We were bombarded by requests to shoot Melania,” recalls Dylan Jones, editor of the publication since 1999, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter. “And so, given that she was obviously so keen to be featured in GQ, we came up with a rather kitsch and camp story for her to feature in.” One of the photos in question — in which Melania Knauss (she married Trump in 2005) lies naked on a fur rug and handcuffed to a briefcase in a private jet — resurfaced earlier this week, sparking a particularly ugly war of words between the Republican GOP candidate and rival Ted Cruz.

Found by a pro-Cruz super PAC, the image featured prominently on an ad that invited viewers to “Meet Melania Trump, Your Next First Lady,” part of an attempt to dissuade potential Trump voters in the Mormon community. Trump hit back, but directly at “Lyin‘ Ted Cruz,” warning that he would “spill the beans” on his rival’s wife, Heidi. In response, Cruz called the property mogul a “sniveling coward” and said that he should “leave Heidi the hell alone.”

The super PAC Make America Awesome could well have used any of the other photos that featured in the published shoot, entitled “Sex at 30,000 Feet” and taken by New York-based fashion photographer Antoine Verglas. Alongside the nude image, others include Melania perched on a wing of the 727 in red underwear while holding a silver revolver, lounging inside the plane wearing a very revealing top and opening a briefcase full of jewelry (and holding that revolver again), and straddling the pilot seats in the cockpit wearing a near-transparent dress and a curious futuristic headpiece.

“It was in Trump’s own plane, which was parked at LaGuardia airport,” Verglas tells THR, adding that the shoot idea was for a “James Bond girl” story. “He was kind enough to let us use it. I guess he was trying to help her modeling career.” Verglas, who went on to photograph Melania in Mexico for Sports Illustrated and elsewhere for various other publications, says that the GQ shoot was one of the “more racy” ones (although the Sports Illustrated one was “also pretty sexy”).

You know, I went to high school over 50 years ago, and back then teachers got fired when they made any kind of a political statement that would be misinterpreted by outraged parents. For example if a history teacher were to discuss FDR being a great President, or the holocaust had killed or displaced 6 million Jews, that type of thing. The result of parents being triggered by history teachers, we never learned ANYTHING that happened in American history after World War I. The teachers never got into "modern" history or current events because that's what got them fired.

So nowadays it's not only history, it's every subject in school that triggers these touchy rightwing parents. It's English class, world cultures, social studies, biology, civics (although most schools no longer teach it), art appreciation, health class, music or band, glee club, even sports and phys. ed. Every area of education is a political minefield these days. No wonder the teachers are so discouraged and mentally wiped out.

which determined who were the Nazis and who were the realists. We created, printed and handed out an underground newspaper in the halls of our high school. 3 issues over 3 weeks. Mostly articles appropriated from Rolling Stone music reviews and opinion pieces from students about issues on their "soon to be drafted" minds.

The first tell was the coach/science teacher who, on week 2, stormed the halls, confiscating them from anyone he saw with a copy. Sort of a snatch and grab guy. Nazi? Not sure. Illiberal? Pretty sure but definitely a pro Vietnam war guy.

Next was the principal who threatened to expel anyone with a byline on the paper. A sucker for non-controversiality. He'd waited until the winds told him he needed to stop "those kids". On week 3, he did. Had no politics to discern but I'm betting he voted Democrat in the general election. Most did, in my area until Reagan.

The Vietnam war was a real social divider in 1969. People were beginning to accept the evidence that their government was blatantly lying and getting thousands of 18 year olds killed in the process. Walking past the teachers' lounge, I heard a heated exchange among the teachers. It was a shouting match, really. Apparently, our "Mr. Primo" civics teacher had stepped on the last nerve of our English/drama coach and she was having none of Mr. Civic's broad brush conservatism. It was really noisy when the assistant principal opened the door as he raced in to stop the carnage of decorum. I could hear others in there shushing and berating and encouraging and placing their 2 cents and stuff. It was a learning experience. Mostly we learned how thin the skin really was on even the most hardened conservative and that this civilized patina isn't something you can hang your hat on.

As one who also lived through those years and remembers the divisiveness, I found it fascinating. 8 have to give you and your friends credit for coming up with such a clever experiment.

The divisiveness over the Vietnam War was incredible. I remember two of the popular bumper stickers among those who supported the war were "America: Love It or Leave It" and "My Country, Right or Wrong." There were SO MANY people who thought that objecting to anything the government did was tantamount to treason. The Founders would have been baffled, considering the pains they took to write a Constitution that protected the rights of Americans to do just that.

Vietnam begat Reagan who begat Limbaugh who begat tea parti-ism which became MAGATism. Those FF's had but a theory based on philosophy and a command of vagueness to suit just about any occasion. 200 years isn't a terrible run for a sociological experiment. Of course, the Indians may have a different opinion, just as do Black Americans. It could be that it's Brown Americans who will do the begetting around here in a few decades.

She has other soft core lesbian porn photo shoots were she’s getting it on on camera with another fully nude female.

Hypocrisy!

The first 2 are being banned because the ignorant among us consider them to be porn. The third one was a first “lady” who they declared was classier than any other. She’s in a provocative pose. The other two or not. Do you not see the problem? Really?
