Like someone out of a bad bedroom comedy, who has been fooling around, and whose paramour is hiding in the closet when the wife came home unexpectedly.

He always sounds frightened to me. It's worse now than when he was MA governor.

When he gets really nervous, he talks faster and gets even stiffer
and inserts nervous laugh after every other word. Very uncomfortable to watch!

But of course that degree of self-consciousness and fear will often lead to exactly the type of mistake one is trying to avoid.

And his babbling about his tax returns isn't quite a "brainwashed" moment, but unless he finds a way to "wash" those returns he's going to have problems.

I haven't watched the GOP debates. I keep meaning to, but I guess I just haven't the stomach for it.
