I don't watch debates, and I don't watch political speeches. Saturday radio addresses? Fish On!!!!

Barack? Ed? Jon? Bill M? FNC? Current? Yawwwwwn... I don't watch political TV. Rush? Randi? I have a life that I enjoy. Gots me some better things to do, I do... I've been teasing fish with shiny things MORE than a few times when my fellow democrats have been obsessing over the upcoming speech or political radio/tv show. Would that my little lake didn't freeze over during the winter, or I'd ALWAYS be tossing or trolling a lure at those times.

Political theater. Theatre if it makes you feel more cosmopolitan.

It's all bullshit, and the Newsweek cover did nothing but prove that fact. Objectivity is dead. If you support what they did with this cover and the accompanying story, you HAVE to drop your objection to Fox calling themselves Fox News.

Just once, I'd like to see the kind of honesty that would allow a candidate for President to say "My Ego caused me to run for this office..." because it's EGO that causes EVERY candidate to run for the office of President of the United States. It's HUGE EGO that causes Presidents to run for a second term. I guess you think you know how I feel about LBJ now. Well you don't.

They LIE. THEY ALL LIE. The sooner we wrap our minds around that, the sooner we turn the corner.

No one listens though. "My Congresscritter/Senator is..." Fuck a buncha that. YOUR Congresscritter and Senators lie incessantly, just like MINE do. Then they go from hearings to the telephone to either call their investment banker directly, or to call some other person who THEN calls their investment banker to make trades based on what they heard in the hearing.

There IS a "class war" going on in this country. It's a war between the POLITICAL class, and the rest of us. THEY'RE lining their pockets with the expectation that sooner or later, WE'LL wake up, and THEY want to be prepared when that happens.

Know what I think would be a really... really interesting statistic? How much gold our elected liars hold.

Wake up! The letter D behind a politician's name means NOTHING other than the difference in their rhetoric. D or R, it marks them as someone who's betting against US.

That said, I'm a Democrat who votes for Democrats...

Because the alternative is, well... slightly worse.
