Insurance questions Re: fox Dominion

1. Been researching can’t find the answers to these questions, what was the total liability limit they had purchased including umbrellas if anyone can figure it out?

2. Most insurance policies do not cover intentional acts* and I don’t remember if slander will be covered when it was done knowingly. Making a false statement is one thing, making a false statement when you know it’s false is another and I just don’t remember how this works.

* Example, if it can be proven the guy you rear ended last night that you did it on purpose, your car insurance will not cover any of the damages related to the accident.

contact Fox to find out what they purchased, if any as far as insurance is concerned. Pretty sure that's NOT public information. Any more than my insurance coverage is no matter the type.

What FOX most likey had, if they purchased it was entertainment liability insurance. Just a guess on my part. Pretty sure claims are also confidential and not public. And yes, slander is covered for an entertainment liability policy. You can look here for what all it covers. https://www.biberk.com/get-a-quote/media-liability-insurance?a=GPL-PL-Media&gclid=CjwKCAjw6IiiBhAOEiwALNqnca-2VGNhSo-4dT9Yb8t2ODw9qwYQRDLTc_sUq_OlNry3KrSyFbj7qRoCmJoQAvD_BwE

This site shows liable as being covered. But doesn't address defamation. Which is what FOX just got nailed on. I'm sure there are more companies out there. This is just the one that came up first.

I would think the amount the insurance companies pay as their share of the settlement would be revealed somewhere.

I realize the amount they bought is not likely ever to be public, other than a leak.

As far as premiums going up, they might just self insure at some point. Obviously for the good of not just USA but humankind, all of Rupert's businesses should be sued out of existence, if possible. But I dont think this current situation is gonna do it to faux news.
