Not a lot of serious attention paid to much such as Environment, Schools, Children, Foreign Policy.

It is normal human behavour, since most of us cant do jack shit about climate change that we are not already doing, we focus on things that we feel like we can change. Sort of anyway.

Hatrack and other members post excellent articles every day. They don't usually make the top of the boards, but if the top of the boards are all you read on DU, then you're missing a great deal.

I presume its an imbalance of seriousness on the part of “DU”.
