Tornadoes in winter

My Dad just called me to let me know he was ok. I wasn't aware of the threat but apparently more than one tornado touched down (or close enough to touchdown to cause damage) in the Louisville, KY area today.

A semi was overturned on an interstate in southern Indiana.

A shopping center has sustained damage.

A riding stable near my Dad has severe damage and missing horses.

I was born in Louisville and spent all my summers
in Kentucky when I was a teen- grew up in Southern Indiana
and remember the increasingly violent storms there-
I'm afraid it is going to get worse before it gets worse.

Glad to know your father is okay- now I am wondering about
my relatives...
