What to tell your conservative friends and relatives about Romney and Bain

Some investment people on Wall Street and elsewhere make their money in ways that do no good for anyone but themselves (and, presumably, their clients, though that is not always the case).

We tolerate them because we think having sharks in the water keeps everybody vigilant and swimming as fast as they can. To the extent that the sharks devour the truly weak and inept companies, they can actually do some long-term good.

But, that is not a line of work I would get into and I do not want people like that running the government.
