Russ Feingold: "Today’s filing shows the overwhelming momentum to unite Wisconsin..."

Russ Feingold on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 12:21pm

Today’s filing shows the overwhelming momentum to unite Wisconsin, stand up for workers’ rights, and end the disastrous policies of Governor Scott Walker. The contrast in this recall process has been stark: as thousands of grassroots volunteers have worked tirelessly to collect over one million signatures from Wisconsinites, Governor Walker has traveled across the country to raise unlimited contributions from his corporate backers.

I look forward to working with citizens across Wisconsin to support the Democratic nominee to be our next governor.

We have some good choices but we need big name recognition with statewide appeal and someone who is not too contentious. It's a VERY volatile environment here and the right is as organized to get to the polls as we are to recall. We still have a very tough battle ahead.

as is often the case. Anyone named (or unnamed) would be light years ahead of Walker and I really *like* them all. A lot.

Wisconsin Democrats are all awesome.

the recall signatures are in with such an overwhelming number. He would be an absolutely fabulous nominee to run against walker.

We think Herr Walker is a dick now. If he cheats enough to win the recall, we have seen nothing yet.
