7. No they aren't. Obama carried 13 of the 15, most of them with over 60% of the vote.

He lost the Kentucky county by a big margin, and lost narrowly in the Tennessee county. They are, other than those two, counties which are predominantly either African American or Native American.

yet I do not hear Newt talking about paychecks for Indians, or Frothy calling out "India-a-a-a-ahhh people".

It was just a couple of months ago IIRC.

The locals are begging for the big box stores to open up in their area
but the big box stores don't want to invest in such a depressed area.
They are good people for the most part but no one wants to take a
chance on them. Damn shame.

But I bet all those areas have a lot of good old fashioned Calvinist churches in them. Their version of Jesus tends to favor the poor getting screwed.
