Maybe it was just the power of suggestion, but I think I hear a major network talking head refer to DeMint as a "Tea Party Silverback". I backed up and listened again and heard the same thing.
It's appropriate, but perhaps just a fig newton of my imagination.
Anyone else hear that?

but I agree it is an apt description. However, it is a nasty swipe at Silverbacks.
He's more like one of those retrocreatures that are pulled from the sea at times. He's a throwback in more ways than one. I would like to throw him back!
