Rick Perry's new job

In a stunning move today President Barack Obama picked Governor Rick Perry of Texas to be the new
United States ambassador to Turkey. "The good people of Texas are looking forward to seeing Gov.
Perry and to showing him the love and friendship that was made famous in the 1979 movie Midnight
Express," said a grinning President Obama.
President Obama was reported to have mentioned that he was having Governor Perry sent by
an Air Force transport to Ankara, Turkey where a group of local Turkish Islamic leaders will be
meeting him at the airport to give him a ride into town.
