President Obama released the first ad of his reelection campaign, and its about clean energy jobs and oil independence plus, it hits back at a Koch-funded attack ad that fudged the facts. This is unusually green (as in actually mentioning green issues) and unusually brass (as in balls)! Lets hope it keeps up.
As usual with political ads for some reason, this one is mostly sentence fragments, so its hard to know how to punctuate. But heres our best attempt at a transcript:

Or a 40 hour a week, Living-Wage-Job with benefits?
Just because it is in a Green, "High Tech" field, does not necessarily make it a Living-Wage-Job.

(31,207 posts)fine until I could do better. Pulling jobs out of one's ass is not a requirement for this president or any other. He's damned when he reaches out to the business community as a corporate tool, and he's damned, in the same breath, for 8.5% unemployment.
I realize that a "living wage job" is essential for families to thrive, but we're at pretty critical mass here, and recovering from the biggest recession since the Great Depression, can we be allowed to take baby steps? Is that okay?
