silly me and I thought we are all Americans here and loyal to the American flag. We should never allow the south to create economic policy. They have always only cared about their region. The south's contribution to our economic strength(industrial revolution and the information age) is negligible. Their idea of an economy is stealing jobs from the north with cheap labor(3rd world mentality). A famous bumper sticker seen in the south-"American by birth southern by the grace of God". You would never see that anywhere else in the country. No region put's itself above the country. Please secede.

4. I live in the south and my kids go to UGA

where my son's fraternity is the most open on campus. The name of the frat is Delta sig and they have one African American member. Their nickname on campus is Delta nig. I have seen their posting page and a typical posting is n****r this and n****r that. need I say more. Furthermore,

I sold cash registers and cosmetics and I have been to every small town in Georgia from Warner Robins north to the Ga/SC and Tenn border. I also covered Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, Louisville and Lexington and Owensboro. For other companies. I have been to the HQ's of Autozone, Fedex,KFC,Tractor Supply, Shoneys. Provident Insurance and more. I have also covered Charlotte. I have probably been in more small towns and companies than all of you.

My city has a Latina mayor who got her start working with Cesar Chavez and all my immediate representatives from school board to state house are all Democrats.

I have lived and worked in small towns in Tennessee, Alabama, Indiana and South Carolina, and, by far, the most backward and "redneck" place I lived was Seymour, Indiana.

Not sure why you seem to encounter the most racist people in any given town because I don't.
