Robert Redford Rips Romney, Republicans

Actor Robert Redford dissed Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republican presidential field at the opening of the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on Thursday, the AFP reports.

"In terms of what's going on there... in terms of Mitt Romney, I mean, I'm not going to get into politics. The fact is you can see the (Republican) debates going on, this mushroom cloud of ego hovering over everybody,” Redford said.

Asked whether or not he thinks Romney appreciates independent films – the reason for the festival – Redford suggested that he does not. “Mitt Romney can go and see what he wants to see. If he likes 'Transformers,' great, it's there for him, but that's not where we are," he said.

The 75-year-old star already made it clear that he's on Team Obama earlier this week, penning a column on the Huffington Post praising the president's decision to reject the Keystone XL pipeline.

well read, well spoken and sexy as hell.....what was that he said again?

Oh and back in the 80's I got to sit next to Redford at a regular movie theatre. Only thing I remember from tht night was the rippling muscles in his strong jaw as he ate his popcorn. Can't remember a single solitary thing about the movie.
