I feel sick almost to death from the news about Biden stepping aside.

Called my brother, a Biden supporter like myself. We'd been talking politics just minutes earlier, and then I looked at DU again and saw the shattering news.

It feels as though the ground has been ripped out from under us.

I've felt so secure, with Biden as president.

I have faith in Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders.

But right now I'm mourning losing a second Biden term I was looking forward to.

And my heart is breaking for Joe - a great man as well as a great president - and for all his supporters.

Biden is our president until January 25 n I’m hoping he kicks some butt, takes names n excites the base the way only he can do it. I’ll support whatever he decides. I’d love to see Kamala pick a woman to be her VP!

but I guess I better start planning on living in my daughter's basement. My financial security risk just went way down. At least I have a current passport.
