Joe Biden is a selfless patriotic man who did a great job as President
I'm dumbfounded. I honestly didn't expect Joe Biden to drop out.
Joe Biden did the best among demographics that fell off from Trump. I thought Joe Biden was the best person to do that again.
My people, black Americans, are considered the backbone of the party. I just came from a family reunion a week ago. If my family is any indication of the feeling of most black Americans, they were voting for Joe Biden no matter what. They saw the debate too, and they were with him. Even though I had reservations after the debate, I would have done everything I could to ensure Joe Biden won.
I hate that Joe Biden had to be tossed aside like this. He was deserving of a second term. I absolutely hate it, and I know it was a hard decision for him.
He has given us the greatest industrial policy of my lifetime; the greatest bipartisanship in this hyper-partisan time; and he actually made Congress function. He was the greatest dealmaker we could ask for... and I know he wants a second term, and he's making a selfless decision.
I applaud him and everything he's done. I'm tearing up a little because it didn't have to be like this.
