I am so heartbroken

I am in shock. I truly thought Joe was staying in and I was looking forward to the big comeback and proving all these naysayers wrong. I was on a newsbreak due to the enormous stress. It showed up in an email from Mary Trump. I had to come here for some comfort, with my tribe at DU. I am a musician and have my first gig in years coming up this week. This has disrupted my sleep.

One thing is certain. Joe Biden has not only been the best president of my lifetime. He is an individual I deeply trust. If for WHATEVER reason he believes this to be the best course of action, I will follow his lead.

But I also feel intensely, personally sad. That will take time.

With my broken heart I am on team Kamala.

I just. In the campaign emails and letters he sent, he seemed really looking forward to another term. It breaks my heart because I feel like Joe was forced. The ones who forced him out better get behind team Kamala yesterday 😭

America really couldve used another cup of Joe 😞

I truly hope he knows the voters, we the people, truly appreciate his lifetime of service. This just isn't right. He was so excited to keep doing the people's work

These tributes to him sound like eulogies.

If Joe is out there campaigning for Harris, we can further be assured of beating Trump.

I want to get a sense of his funneling all the goodwill he has into a Harris election victory.

I have that awful feeling that I had in November 2016 when Trump was announced the winner.

To think at one time I had a crush on George Clooney. Yuck! I am especially pissed at Rob "quit fucking around" Reiner. This whole situation is appaling to me.
