To be clear........I'm talking about possible V.P. picks for Harris....

And....I don't think someone who's gay (I'm a lesbian).......... I like the Governor of Colorado - Jared Polis but he's gay....I wish it wasn't like that but I think it is. If someone wants to pile on....fine. Once again, I'm gay.........

I would hate for Michigan to lose Whitmer, but she'd be great too. I don't think CA is at risk, if Newsom were to be picked. But Josh Shapiro is pretty needed as Gov in Pennsylvania.

Nor can anyone from California run with her.

The huge scam that is comprises "residency in Wyoming" is the only reason the Bush/Cheney ticket was constitutional; Cheney may have been a Senator from Wyoming because that's where the family homestead is, but for tax purposes, his listed primary residence with the IRS was Texas.

As a Californian, I think Newsom would be considered too progressive for the rust belt/middle America. Also, they're both from California.

I love Kelly, but I would not support him for the VP nominee -- he seems very much like a Kaine-type pick to me, although infinitely better -- and your point about losing a seat in the Senate is one I hadn't even thought about.
