The Giants won, after all. It didn't change the arc of the game.

The Iowa call for Romney underscored a mistaken impression that Mittens was some sort of unbeatable juggernaut, ensuring his victory in NH.

It's not like the two are even comparable. Football is much more important.

I also think the Packers just had a really off day. Maybe it was the 3 weeks Rodgers had off, or the funeral that week. But they did not play the way they had all season. The Giants still might have won, but the Packers were never in the game.
