So, Joe Paterno

Demigod or Devil? Will he find redemption in death? Was he ever in any danger of being prosecuted in conjunction with the Sandusky fall out? Perhaps a civil case against him, now against his estate? Personally, I think they should melt his statue down and nuke the Penn State football program. By the end of the day look for a Princess Diana-esque tribute to Paterno at the foot of his statue, mountains and mountains of flower bouquets. Perhaps a vigil/riot in his honor this evening.

2. Will Paterno find redemption in death? Only if there really is a hell.

Better that you should mourn for the innocence of the children and the legitimate accomplishments of the university that his collusion has poisoned.

3. Joe Paterno is no victim. He is an accomplice to child rape. I don't care about redemption

but I'm sure the university will be making a gilded halo for his statue. Because he was such a good football coach don't you know. Right now, he's feeling the pain of everyone he ever hurt. I hope it stings deeply.
