They have their own war criminals, starting with Tony Blair and didn't want to set a precedent.

(6,539 posts)Truly, the universe cries out for justice. Let this son of Bush get his due. Send him to the tower of London and treat him like Henry the Eighth's wives.
Picture people Tebowing for this because we recall the '00 election in which false "christians" stood outside the Texas mansion praying that this bastard would steal the election. Praying for justice, not injustice!

(11,064 posts)He has already spoken in favor of prosecuting Blair for war crimes.
Notwithstanding such talk, the Mayor of London only has authority over a geographical area of approximately one square mile within London. Bush, Cheney, Blair, et al., can avoid the risk of arrest and prosecution for war crimes by simply not scheduling any book tours within the one square mile area.

(6,900 posts)I can understand and sympathize with most of what the President has done since he took office.
This failure to prosecute a bragging war criminal is not understandable. This is a failure to see that the laws are faithfully executed.
