I remember my grandfather had passed away at 2am but it wasn't "offical" until 6am. He was in the hospital with a lot of machines maybe that was the differnet.

of morphine to make sure his survival didn't mess up the next day's announcement of his demise in the newspapers. Apparently that was done more than once. Rather foreward thinking of him.

know for some legal loophole or something.


REMEMBER how paterno was quickly changing things over to his wife's name. One must ask was the family trying to make sure all the T's are crossed and Is dotted.


EDIT: P.S. I don't want to sound cruel but if you look at how somethings where rushed you have to wonder.--at least I have too.

first place. However, if you say what I am sure your right why should Mrs JoePa pay for something she had nothing to do with. They were married many, many years. JoePa mistake is he didn't take the problem to the police sooner and he should of fired Sandusky. That would have gone a long way. I mean many people dropped the ball. I don't blame him to making sure his property is changed over to his wife.

paper published that he was dead. The editor was responsible for the content of the paper. His resignation was expected. Newspaper editors have to make sure the stories in their paper are correct. No excuses.
