This is a truly beautiful decision issued today (Friday), admirably quoting from one of the very best Christmas movies ever. Florida Second Judicial Circuit, Judge Kevin J. Carroll, in Voeltz v. Obama:

She is attempting to file a lawsuit to bar it from happening. I'm sick of these kooks acting like they are the advocates for the true Americans. I'm sick and tired of people going after our president for the simple fact that they think he is a black man tarnishing the White House. I don't care what they PRETEND to stand for--that's the bottom line--RACISM.

(19,465 posts)The judge is saying that once something is firmly in place, we must not question whether it's in place legally.
I would have preferred it if he'd pointed out that the Constitution does not require that one be born in the United States to be president, and if he had said that the plaintiffs have not shown that the president is not a natural-born citizen.

(21,477 posts)This is the third time this guy has been tossed out on his ear this year. It is an unserious lawsuit that should not be dignified by anything more than the judge's very appropriate quote from "Miracle."
If you've seen it, you'll get it. If not, highly recommended.
