Your link is just to some image about investing in diamonds. A little content supporting your skepticism about that type of investment would help round out your post, I think.

Otherwise, this is pretty content-free.

Not blaming DU. Just blaming the scam artists who try to sell this junk. Probably giving you synthetic diamonds anyways. Not as if anybody can tell the difference. The jewelers only know the difference because the real ones have flaws.

I have a pair of Moissanite stud earrings that have more fire and brilliance than the real diamond in my engagement ring.

I'm not even sure a jeweler could tell the difference.

Well, maybe. But it would be difficult...
