If a CEO gets paid $10M per year...

he or she will probably sock away $5M in a bank account in the Cayman Islands or in some obscure financial instrument.

But it's more effective if you pay the CEO $5M and pay a thousand workers an extra $5000 each. That way they'll spend more money in the real economy buying goods and services and everyone benefits, especially small businesses.

If executes get a 10% increase, then so must all the employees.

Some way to make the bonuses and pay given to executives, linked to worker pay.
