I see his point, but bilingual education helps children learn subjects better, or at least that was the prevailing conclusion in the 1990s.

It is better you know nothing of science, math, history etc... so long as you can speak like the good old majority. At least by their logic. I guess because to them your knowledge means crap because you're never going to be more than a janitor anyways and Mitt likes his janitor to speak English. They're desire for conformity over learning is rather offensive.

Of course Republicans desire for conformity is the only reason Mittens isn't walking away with this things. He doesn't pray the right way to their god. What comes around, goes around in Republican world.

subjects in their native language while increasing their english skills. that way they don't fall behind while learning the new language - best of all is a dual langauge program where they can get the subject matter in both - 1/2 day for each language.
