On the East Coast it is 10 AM on New years Day. The House is to be back in session at noon.

Will they vote? Will they not vote? Will Boner be able to control or overcome the teabaggers?

There is a part of me that is rooting for the baggers so we do, indeed, go over the cliff. We can then start with a fresh sheet of paper and the baggers will get the blame. Yeah, I know. Simplistic. But that's how I feel.

So, back to the central point: what do you think will happen when the House goes back in session today?

I was for going over before last night but then again I am not unemployed, my children are now adults and I am not a student. A lot people will do much better under this deal than going over a cliff, also it did not touch SS or medicare, so I am good with it now.

Will the House GOP pretend that they're not rubber stamping rate increases in the top 1%?

Will the House be able to swallow the 1 to 1 revenue/spending provision for the sequester talks?

Must see teevee!

It could turn out to be the first clown show of the year...then, again, it could be like a wake.

I would imagine Boehner partied last night and won't feel that great today.
