after the mandate the President got that he should be sitting here post 11th hour playing games with a House that says they now will not accept the proposal from the Senate.
They struck out like children, and now it is time to call their bluff and put this Congress to bed because you can't reason with 3 year olds at this late hour.

(1,727 posts)Each time the Republicans refuse the latest deal, the next deal offers less. Eventually, the only deal available for the Republicans will be the one the progressives demand. It's nerve wracking to watch the process. If the Republicans say "No" to the latest deal, it will help insure the Democrats win the 2014 mid term elections.
