Boehner is obliged to bring Senate bill up for a vote

Cantor comes out in opposition

Cantor and most Republicans vote "no"

Bill passes with mostly Democratic votes

Cantor challenges Boehner for Speaker

And this bill is the best way to separate himself from Boner, just two days before a new Congress is about to be installed.

That's why I fear Cantor, he's a much shrewer card player than Boner could ever hope to be. The President will have his hands full for the next two years if Cantor becomes Speaker. Boner will look like the good old days in comparison.
