that their reign of terror is (almost) over. The only way to salvage what remains is to capitulate to the Dems.

Angry people will be at the Republican's office with pitchforks and torches demanding to know why the *FUCK* they didn't take the deal.

They all would just as soon stab him in the back as work with him, but are so busy watching each other for the next betrayal that they can't act.

House Republican leader expects Senate bill to pass
Rep. Tom Cole, the deputy GOP whip in the House, said he expects the chamber to pass the Senate fiscal cliff bill tonight without adding a package of spending cuts.
http://www.cnn.com/

8:02 p.m. ET - CNN's Dana Bash reports the House will vote on the Senate bill without amendments Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET. If it passes the House, the bill will then move on to the president's desk.

I do believe they've set Boehner up to pass a bill with a majority of Democratic votes. Then they plan to use that to try and take his leadership position away from him.

I think you'll see all-out civil war between the teahadists and the standard corporate-lackey Republicans next term, with, hopefully, voters in the former group becoming disillusioned enough to stay home two Novembers from now.

In any event, this will either topple Boehner from the Speakership in a couple of days, or ensure he gets labeled a "traitor" and undercut by Cantor and his gang for the next two years.

And won't some of the teabaggers, those that didn't get re-elected, be leaving on the 3rd when the new Congress comes in, which will make it even better for the dems to get things done in two months when the real battle commences?
