MA Rep Neal brought up support for homeless veterans. Thank you Representative Neal!

I'm an Iraq veteran, and a very lucky one. I'm the homeless veteran outreach coordinator for my American Legion post (btw, if you can do anything to support your local American Legion, please do consider it). We have veterans coming back right now without sufficient social services waiting for them, and we're actually talking about cutting back social services.

As Rep. Neal said: cutting taxes during a war is not patriotic. Thank you, sir!

They push shopping carts. The homeless veterans are more numerous.

Sam asked, "won't this lead to a huge line of homeless veterans asking for care?"

Toby said, "God, I hope so."

Countries that don't take care of their veterans have no business making new ones.

Never leave a brother or sister behind: that spirit is why veterans' organizations like the Legion are still the vanguard in helping get homeless veterans back on their feet, long after politicians have forgotten about them.
