Be a citizen cosponsor of the Anti-Corruption Act

Clearly, democracy demands majority participation or it isn't democracy. And while we all have busy lives, there are many ways to impact our nation's direction. The least effective is doing nothing. As we all know that doesn't mean things won't change, it's just that they just won't change in the way we want. We have many other choices. So, if you haven't taken some form of action (though I know most of you have), here's another:

This one has been initiated by Represent.Us to get money out of politics. I'm asking everyone I know who cares about the direction our nation is taking to sign up as “Citizen Co-Sponsors” of the American Anti-Corruption Act to fix our broken political system.

Please take a minute to add your name and help this movement grow.

By working together we can get America back from the grip of SuperPACs and special interest lobbyists. My personal target is getting 100 more co-sponsors.

The heart of the plan is to get 1 million people — from Occupy to Tea Party, left, right and center — to sign their name as "Citizen Co-sponsors" of a bold new law that stops lobbyist bribery, ends secret campaign money and gives power back to everyday Americans.

I’m happy to tell you more about it. Just email or call me (360.385.7410). Thanks in advance... after all, it's only the future of our country at stake!

So, let's Do it!

Steve Hamm

Then please get behind this effort to help rid our Govt of corruption and reduce the power of lobbyists.

Although I wish there was more representation by Democrats on this effort, it would seem that any effort to get corruption out of the Govt that is a legitimate effort should get our support. The lobbying by banksters, the MIC, and big pharma etc needs to be dealt with.
