My district was actually called for the Dem challenger and then a very RED populous county reported late and we lost it.

...but the district next to mine switched from (soon to be indicted) David Rivera (R) to Joe Garcia (D).
From wikipedia:
"He (Joe Garcia) will be the first Cuban-American Democrat to represent South Florida in Congress, as well as the first non-black Democrat to represent a significant portion of Miami since 1993."
A sea change for South Florida!!
