Any Jennifer Granholm fans here?

Her show is airing live right now on DISH TV. The set looks different, but great show so far. I wonder how long her show will be available. I feel like I should support it as long as it is.

Does anyone know the fate of her, Cenk, and the others?

"We were told today that Al Jazeera is the buyer for Current TV. My agreement with Current was for the duration of the election (and the sale). It has been a very fun adventure; we are blessed with a wonderful team. We'll continue to broadcast The War Room for the next few weeks through the transition, but after that I'll be going back to teaching, speaking and other things. Thanks to all of you who have been watching, and especially thanks to those who helped achieve a key goal: helping to re-elect the president!"

2. She posted on Facebook earlier

Said that the sale voided her contract and the show would be ending.

5. Did she say when it would be ending?

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area, and she broadcast her show from here. At least she did until recently. But the set looks different now.

She wasn't any more specific than that.

I ought to add, to answer your actual question, I am a former Michigan Dem and proudly worked on her campaigns, so, yes, I am definitely a Jennifer Granholm fan.

3. I'm watching as well...woot!

No one knows yet what their fate will be. With luck they will stay and be joined by other informative, factual news coverage. I'm hoping for the best....I really like the morning lineup as well.

7. Back to politics?

It is pretty likely that Carl Levin will retire in 2014, he's been in the senate since '78. Granholm would be a good candidate for that statewide race, since she already won MI twice.

Just a thought.

She moved here to be near her parents from what I read. And it is a beautiful place to live.
