Wouldn't it be nice for one of the major parties to nominate someone who wasn't a multimillionaire

for president?

When was the last time that happened? Does anyone know?

It's sad that a net worth of 1.3 MILLION DOLLARS in 2008 puts the president way at the low end of the spectrum for "viable" political candidates.

In any event, Obama's net worth is now somewhere north of $10 million.
