Harry Reid tells us something we already know. Americans don't care and have never cared about us

or considered us to be human beings. Our 2,000 deaths was NOTHING compared to their 110.

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Harry Reid told the Senate floor on Friday that Hurricane Katrina was “nothing in comparison” to Hurricane Sandy.

“The people of New Orleans in that area, they were hurt,” said Reid, the Democratic majority leader. “But nothing in comparison to what happened to the people in New England.”

The Feds may have been there sooner but their inept response was devastating.

I would be inclined to ask just when NY and NJ became part of New England? Reid should talk less, he messes up as frequently as Romney.

It still looked like a war zone in many places. Thousands were unsettled, never to return. Entire neighborhoods were turned to ghost towns.

I don't want to minimize anyone's suffering. I'm sure Sandy was terrible. But there is a better way to measure damage than just in terms of property damage. It is disgusting to minimize what happened in the Gulf. It was a disgrace the way people were treated.

I really, really wish democrats would one day learn how to state a thought without putting their damned feet in their mouths. I see democratic politicians and so called strategist make the mistake all the time, republicans are far better at messaging, except those around Mitt Romney.
