In our President. He knows what to do. But washington is a big game, and he's trying to play it the best he knows. But I do believe he wants to do right by us. He is fighting against things we can only imagine, I do believe half of the conspiracy theories, he is up against tptb and they have held power a long time, it's not easy.

Course I never had any doubts about him. I actually listened to what he was saying on the campaign trail where he was going to try to change the tone in washington and he tried for three years but now he is taking the kid gloves off and is ready to get down to business of kicking puke ass and righting this listing ship of state we have.

I was concerned. Very concerned. No experience, etc. In 3 years this man has proven to me and most of the country, what balls it took to get our country heading in the right direction. Imagine where we'd be without all the GOP issues he ran across. With each and every speech, and his persistence on getting this country going again, I fully support this president. If given another term, I expect he will go down in history as the best ever. Of course we all know he was preceded by the worst ever. That in itself is a major feat. I voted for him then, and I'll vote for him again.

BTW, it don't matter who the GOP puts up against him. The republicans must be totally embarrassed by the candidates they have chosen to date. What a joke. Any one with a brain can figure this one out. Even the 1%.

I wasn't going to taint any of that by listening to the rebuttals immediately following.

After reading portions of the rebuttals this morning, to me, much of what he said actually pre-empted much of those talking points. The man is simply brilliant.

How can the Reps not know they have alrady lost this election?

It's amazing how so many people are so easily impressed by a lying politician. That is all ANY of them are, including Obama. Someone who has no intention of ever living up to that speech (and I can do without the support for fracking by the way, which is clearly incredibly destructive).

I am not voting in this election; I haven't bothered to change my registration from the last time I moved. I am not moved by pretty speeches any more and I am thoroughly sick of the hero worship of someone who doesn't deserve it.

71. My President should be ashamed of himself.
Wed Jan 25, 2012, 10:04 PM
Jan 2012

As someone who works for CBP, this President ought to be ashamed of the The Fast and Furious scandal, especially the behavior of his lying and "cover-upping" Attorney General. My DHS brother, murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, died needlessly because of this hare-brained scheme. And Holder never had the decency to personally offer his condolences to Terry's family.

Trust me when I tell you that the agency is demoralized over this episode, knowing that it could happen to any one of us.

This is my president. For shame.
