How many republican members of your family said they are voting for President Obama in 2012?

p.s. All of my family members are Democrats, so I'll have to sit this one out.

(20,600 posts)and a Mormon and is anxious to vote for Romney if he is the GOP candidate. I don't know what he thinks of Newt Gingrich though, he is a family values type republican but I did manage to convince him to vote for John Kerry in 2004.

She voted for McCain in 2008, but she's voting for Obama this time. Her husband, also in the military, is still waiting for Romney.

(28,769 posts)my republican family members and i steer clear of politics. and if they are going to vote for the only reasonable candidate, they're probably too embarrassed (over ever having done otherwise) to admit it to me.
so, i don't know. i can only hope.
